Maekong Riveside Organic Group
Location: Maekong Riverside Organic Group (MROG) is situated in Khong Chiam district and Sri Mueang Mai district of Ubon Ratchathani province, Northeastern region of Thailand. They are at the far east side of the country, sharing boarder with Lao PDR with Maekong river as national boundary. The province is 592 km from Bangkok and the two districts are around 50 – 100 km from the Ubon city center.

Legal status: informal producer group
Organic farming: started in 2010 with supports from the Earth Net Foundation (ENF) and Commerce Ministry to produce organic cotton. In 2013, cashew nut orchards were included in the organic project.
